The Kapellskär Youth-Hostel is situated on the eastern tip of central Sweden, right on the edge between land and sea. The hostel lies in the Riddersholm Nature Reserve, a beautiful natural area with flower meadows, groves, hidden beaches and 20 km (12,5 mi) of hiking paths. In the area you can catch your own pike, perch, herring and trout.

The hostel has 36 beds in nine rooms on two floors, self-catering kitchen, two dining rooms and a large common room on the upper floor.

The magnificent archipelago, consisting of 30000 islands, is best experienced by tour boat or by taking a trip on the ferry to Åland.
