Welcome to "Musikmuseet" - The Stockholm Music Museum! Immerse yourself in music in this wonderful old building: Watch, listen and play!

The displays aim to illustrate music's varied aspects using instruments, audiovisual equipment and a diverse array of other items including pictures, manuscripts and music.

We have a varied program of regular activities, including musical games for children, instrument building, concerts, lectures and seminars.

The Stockholm Music Museum has been in existence for more than 100 years. During this time over 11,500 objects have been acquired. The musical instrument collection makes up the larger part of the collection, but there are also many works of art.
